From the past many years, the food culture of Patna has evolved very much.We will introduce you with the popular eating destinations in Patna that you must try if you are a foody .

Earlier there were several small food joints and sweet shops which offered the people of Patna with their rich delicacies and today here we are in the 21st century with all kinds of national and international cuisines on offering in our own city. Now there are so many small and big, cheap and lavish ,eating options available here.

I too belong to Patna and love the food and eating culture of the people of Patna. Every weekend all the restaurants, eating joints, sweet shops are overly occupied by the common people, as the people of Patna love to eat and spend quality time with their families. The restaurants and hotels too have understood this quite well and they have regularly evolved according to the demand and taste of the people here. Here in this article I am trying to share my personal experience in eating culture and also the popular eating destinations in Patna .

THE KHAJA SHOPS

There are quite a few Khaja shops in Buddha Marg in front of museum offering probably the best Khaja in the state. The mouthwatering Khaja, Gaja, Gujhiya are a must have when one visits the city.

  

HING KACHORI 

There is a very small shop on the right hand side of the main entrance of the Hathwa Market, Patna. In that small shop they serve the world’s best Hing Kachori with fried Chana. It’s a delicious and mouthwatering dish. From the past many decades, they have maintained the taste and the quality. I recommend people to have it, as it’s my personal favorite.

LOVELY LASSI

Lovely Lassi is a very old lassi shop situated in Mahendru Area near post office. The shop offers delicious and fresh lassi and has a very clean and hygienic environment.

BASANT VIHAR

Think about South Indian food the first place which comes in my mind is Basant Vihar offering the best South Indian food. They have a wide range of South Indian dishes at a reasonable price and perfect taste.

GOKUL

One of the most famous sweet store in Patna in east of Gandhi Maidan. The milk shake and Kesar Gulab Jamun are their specialty.

MANER SWEETS

It is situated at Maurya Lok Complex. They offer the famous Maner Laddu, Faluda Kulfi and ras madhuri and various other kind of snacks and sweets.

BANJARA

The ultimate place to enjoy various Indian and Chinese cusines with friends and family located at Maurya Lok complex it offers food at very low price

Children love Palsons as they offer the best cake and pastry in the city along with some delicious sweets and snacks. They have a legacy in cake business in our city as they have the best in the business from so many years.
