1. Bandra-Worli Sea Link

2. Mahatma Gandhi Setu

Mahatma Gandhi Setu is the second largest bridge in India which was built on the river of Ganges to connect Hajipur and north of Bihar in Patna. The length of the bridge is 5575 m (18291 ft) including the facilities of pedestrian pathways on both sides as well as 4 lane road. The bridge is maintained by the State Government of Bihar. It was designed by Gammon India Limited. The bridge was opened in 1982 by the then Prime Minister of India Mrs Indira Gandhi.

3. Vikramshila Setu

Vikramshila Setu is the third longest bridge in India. It was built on the river of Ganges and it is also maintained by the Government of Bihar. It is also the second longest bridge in the state of Bihar after Mahatma Gandhi Setu. The length of the bridge is 4700 m (15400 ft). The bridge was opened in 2001 for public. According to the rules, heavy vehicles and four wheeler vehicle owners have to pay toll fee to use this bridge.

4. Vembanad Rail Bridge

Vembanad Rail Bridge is a longest rail bridge in India with a length of 4.62 km and width 5 m. It is the fourth longest bridge in India. The bridge is only used for the Indian Railways trains, which was opened on 11th February, 2011. On an average, 15 trains use this bridge.

5. Nehru Setu

Nehru Setu is the fifth largest bridge in India. It was earlier known as the ‘Upper Son Bridge’. The bridge was built on son river in Dehri-Son Nagar. The length of the bridge is 3064 m (10052 ft), which was opened on 27th February, 1900 for public. It is the second longest rail bridge in India after the Vembanad Rail Bridge.
