Detailed itinerary for 10 Days Mount Kailash Manasarovar Yatra by Helicopter : Fixed Departure Heli Mount Kailash Manasarovar Yatra Tour Package 2015
Duration : 09 Nights / 10 Days
Day 01 : KATHMANDU ARRIVALArrival at Kathmandu airport get assistance by our Kailash Yatra representative and escort to the Hotel, check into the tour program briefing at the evening, enjoy the delicious dinner, overnight stay in Katmandu, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING FLY TO NEPALGUNJAfter breakfast take a half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu
including Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Temple. In the afternoon packing and preparation for Yatra and moving forwards to the Kailash Yatra and fly to Nepalgunj by domestic air, upon arrival at Nepal Gung Airport meet our representative and get transfer to Hotel or drive to Surkhet (approx 2 hrs) and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : NEPAL TO HILSA & DRIVE TO TAKLAKOT Early morning after breakfast take flight to Simikot (3500m). Rest for few hours and take Helicopterride to Hilsa. Arrive at Hilsa and take a drive to Taklakot. We will stay overnight in Taklakot, Overnight stay at Guest House.
Day 04 : IN TAKLAKOT
After breakfast entire day at leisure for acclimatize you body. In the afternoon short treks will be taken in preparation for the Kailash Yatra, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05 : DRIVE TO MANASAROVAR LAKE
You will see your first view of Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake after 3 hrs drive (90 kms) Taklakot to Manasarovar Take holy bath and perform Puja, Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake. After breakfast stay at Mansarovar lake side Lodge, overnight stay at Lake Manasarovar.
Day 06 : MANASAROVAR TO VISIT ASTHAPAD , NANDI PARVAT & TREK TO DIRAPUK
Early morning after breakfast take a drive to Asthapad you cansee a
best & closest view of Mount Kailash. After short drive, we will reach Tarboche and visit Yamdwar. This is starting point for Kora. We will start trekking to Dirapuk (4860 m) which is 12 kms trek (5-6 hrs). Yatris who don’t want to trek around Kailash can go back to Darchen / Mansarovar and wait for group members, overnight stay at Lodge.
Day 07 : DIRAPUK TO ZUTHULPHUK TREK
After early breakfast start trekking from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass to Zuthulpuk (4760 m) 22 km trek (7-8 hours trek). This is the most difficult journey throughout the Yatra since you have to trek up to the 18,600 ft. From descend to Gauri kund and further trek along with the river to Zuthulpuk. Reach Zuthulpuk and overnight stay at Lodge.
Day 08 : DRIVE TO TAKLAKOT
After early breakfast take a short Trek (2 hrs), after that we will drive to Taklakot via Darchen (4560m) , overnight stay at Lodge.
Day 09 : DRIVE TAKLAKOT TO HILSA & FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU
Early morning after breakfast take drive to Hilsa – Nepalgunj/ Surkhet and fly back to Kathmandu (or proceed to Lucknow by Road.) overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 10 : KATHMANDU DEPARTURE
After breakfast get check out from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu international Airport to board you flight and fly back home.
Additional Optional Trip: Mountain flight, Muktinath & Manakamana Darshan.
