  • September 13, 1910: Established as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Simla from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Agraand Diocese of Lahore
  • April 13, 1937: Renamed as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Delhi and Simla
  • June 4, 1959: Renamed as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Delhi
