Rose Garden Chandigarh

The place is decorated with a splash of greenery and charm of roses. In the season of flowers i.e. in February and March the garden and it's surroundings are dressed like a bride and add to the grace of city.
Along with roses, there are many species of trees of medicinal value and some rare species of trees and shrubs. The actual name of the garden is Zakir Rose Garden, named after former president of India Dr. Zakir Hussain. It was established in 1967 under the guidance of then Chief Commissioner of Chandigarh Dr. Mohinder Singh Randawa.
