The most awaited minutes of the tour is when the guests are allowed to sample up to 5 different varieties of wine, of which two are of Indian origin and the rest French. The guided wine tour, of around 3 hours, begins at 10:30 am with a visit to the vineyards where you would be told about the history of wine cultivation in brief. Stroll through rows of grape-bearing vines and take pictures too, after which you will be guided to the winery (in here pictures will not be allowed). Inside the winery you can view the entire process of wine making – from crushing of the grapes to the final labelling and packaging of the wine bottles. Next you would head to the barrel room, setup with real oak barrels, where ageing of premium wine is done. The wine tasting session, lasting around 90 minutes, takes place in the cellar where you would get to savour 5 different varieties of wines amidst gentle music. The tour concludes with a lunch buffet spread after which you can head home.

The traditional process of making wine is dated back epochs ago when wine was prepared by crushing grapes inside large tubs and tanks with the help of just your feet instead of a mechanized method or wine press. This grape stomping tour is not only a fun team activity but it is also accompanied with tasting the end product as well as other fine wines plus dancing to music.
Description:
The day begins when you report to the grape stomping venue that is Ramnagar at 11 am. Thereafter you can begin stomping on the grapes provided for you in vats or large tubs placed in the lawns beside the restaurant. Each barrel or tub can only have 4 people at a time. Stomping is synchronised with the beat or rhythm of the music.. This might last from 20 minutes to an hour depending on each individual's stamina. This is when the thrill and joy of the activity escalates. Then on you can head to a wine tasting tour towards the vineyards where you can also enjoy a few glasses of the drink with your friends. Simultaneously you also get to learn how wine is prepared and the difference between the various types of the concoction.
The tour ends at about 4pm where you can depart the venue and head back to Bangalore.
